hey guys,
I test fitted my FMIC today and decided that I will attach the FMIC via the bumper support brackets [ bottom side ]. I dont know if that's the proper way, but does anyone know where else I can attach it?

attached are 3 photos of my car. Is there ANY way I can use the existing IC pipes that I have and just join them with some U bends to the end tanks? In the first picture you can see that the bracket is in the way. if I can find a way to get around that , do you think it will be OK to run this setup like that?

I know that the more bends and more air travel the more pressure drop and decrease in flow will occur, but will it be noticeable?

sorry for the n00bie questions... I just NEED to know :D

after staring at my car for a good 20 minutes I think if i run a 90 degree elbow from the top endtank, about a foot of straight pipe, and then 2 90 elbows again, i can make that fit. as for the bottom it looks like a big u pipe and straight pipes..

what do you guys think?

Sure, you can make IC piping go just about anywhere if you want...as far as getting to the stock IC hoses that shouldn't be a big deal. RRE's 1g Greddy FMIC kit runs the piping to that location.

PS-remove that black shroud infront of the pass side front wheel , its useless now with the FMIC, it was only there to channel air to the SMIC...not sure if its still there, just going by the pic. :thumb:

Also, the Greddy that i have comes with all the piping to connect straight to the stock location, takes all the guess work out....
