I live in canada and unfortunately we have winter. I was wondering if snow can ruin front mount intercoolers? does is rust?

Hopefully not too cool: an intercooler packed with snow and blocking-off the radiator's airflow would be bad. Very, very bad. I've not heard of this being a problem, but I don't have a front-mount.slugsgomoo said:The upside of the snow is that it ought to keep the IC pretty cool.
Jehu said:Anodizing will help combat corrosion from salt etc. The intercooler also tends to stay cleaner. W/o anodizing and extra cleaning, an intercooler will look quite ugly at the end of a salty winter.
