Flywheel step for ACT 2600

I have an ACT 2600 w/street disc and a Clutch Masters Lightweight Aluminum Flywheel with a changeable friction plate. With my first set up I ran a CM clutch with the flywheel. Since then I changed and went with the ACT 2600 clutch. Now for some reason after I did the break in, a sound was coming from the trans area. It would get louder the faster I went, until I pushed in the clutch. Well, eventually it burned out my TorBearing in the trans. Now I have a new trans and finished rebuilding my motor once again. I am using the same clutch and flywheel with a new ACT street disc. The old one, the 6 springs in the inner of the disc are very loose! Thats why I got a new disc. Now that I have it all put back together i took the car out for a test drive, all was good and fast. But the noise that I heard long ago is back, just not as bad as before. I now its not the trans, cause its been rebuilt. I now its not U-joints or transfer case. My real question is this, could this noise be because I need to restep the flywheel to match the ACT clutch? I know that I will need to drop the trans again. Just looking for any input on this. Does anyone else have this flywheel? Or set up?

Check with Clutch Masters, but so far as I know, the step doesn't change.

Well I measured the steps myself and they were sitting at .641. So, I am haveing them taken down alittle bit to .612. I will throw it all back together as soon as I get it back, and we'll see if that solves my problem.
