Flywheel Question

Hey guys..got updates and a question. I Couldnt for the life of me, find a flywheel for my 1990 Eagle Talon with a 1993 plus, 7 bolt 4G63.

None local...ordered from rockauto.com...they sent me the 5 bolt flywheel for the 1.8l. After talking to their customer service..they summed up it was a catalog error. While not having the flywheel I needed in stock.

So my question is, can I get a flywheel from a newer application..like a 2g year? Since theyre more available for some reason.

Non Turbo.

You need the 1g non turbo flywheel from a 7 bolt then, along with a non turbo clutch.

Oh I know...im just having trouble finding it. I ask for a 1993 Eagle Talon ES Flywheel. Would asking for a 94 help any?

Probably not, they usually don't offer anything for the 2.0 as far as flywheels go. Check car-parts.com, ebay, here, dsmtalk, dsmsource, craigslist.

I'm 87% sure you can use a 1g awd clutch and flywheel in a n/t trans.

I ran a n/t clutch and flywheel in my awd for a little bit

Oof...I wonder why theyre so hard to find? Ebay yielded nada..however, I might have a decent flywheel through Miller Import Parts. I had originally ordered my engine there..theyve been life savers so far.

Lol! Why 87% percent? If so thatd be kinda convenient- they have good stage 1 clutch/flywheel combos available online for good prices.
