I went and got some grade 8s from Fastenal with lock washers, been perfect since install and I've had to remove it a couple times. I used blue loctite on mine for insurance.i can't recall the length I got, I want to say 15mm?

That’s perfect thank you both for the fast response. My local hardware store carries grade 8 so I’ll be sure to get them so at least I have some high quality bolts. Anything I should know going into this? I know I may possibly have to lower the engine slightly if I don’t have clearance to get a bolt.

If it's a new unit, the thickness has been addressed. The last two new units I purchased, the OE hardware was plenty long enough.

If used, I would measure the thickness of the base to see which version you have (10mm or 17mm).

I’ll check that and get back, I bought this brand new in box off of someone so I couldn’t say I know which one I have. But I will check

She’s in boys! Bolts are torqued to spec with lock washers, the bolts are grade 10.
