fluctuating oil pressure gauge

my OPG fluctuates between low and the middle of the gauge......at idle it tends to steer towards low.........and when you get on the gas it tends to go towards the middle........i have recently had a full checkup/engine tuneup so i know there is nothing wrong with the car......do i have a faulty gauge? how do i fix it?

This is perfectly normal.....DSM oil psi gauges are known to be inaccurate pieces of crap.

A new sending unit would probably fix it, but Ive heard they cost like $70 and are hard to find...IMO just get an aftermarket gauge (besides, aftermarket gauges are a chick magnet)
