So ive been running waste gate pressure for awhile now because i had a bad lifter tick and the car was running like crap from it. Well i fixed the tick and was going to hook up my MBC but before i did i decided to do a boost leak test. Well i have 2 leaks one is the rear throttle shaft seal and it leaks loud. The other is my BOV, it starts cracking open at 12 psi. Also theres a little hole on the waste gate side of my dejon tool MBC it leaks a lot of air out of that hole. is that normal.

Any ways back to topic i got done and decided to go for a drive to see how she runs now with out tick, needless to say ran GREAT. But my boost spikes up to 14 where i had my MBC set but then would settle down to about 11 then fluctuate back and forth from about 10 to 14. Is this maby caused by my leaking BOV? Any input would be awesome. When it was on waste gate pressure (10 psi) it would hold it till red line. If needed i could go take a video later.

I know that thanks for the quick reply though. theres nothing i can do about them right now. BUT the throttle seal has always leaked i need to have it rebuilt. but its never had this issue before its always held pressure till red line. i just found the BOV issue.

Well when you fix those leaks let us know then you and well know more about the situation could be a simple leak, you should have none.

Ok will do. but what about the BOV opening a 12lbs is that normal or the MBC with the hole in the waste gate nipple. i never had this issue before with the same leak.

figured out the BOV problem thanks to this Blow Off Valve (BOV)
also figured out the boost controll and how bleeder types work now just got that damn boost leak.
