Alright, Car is a 1990 Eagle talon turbo.

I recently just finished installing some mods. Took me about 4 months to get everything on because I can only work on it one night a week at work.

Anyways, I have the car "running" It starts and runs, but it sounds like its misfiring pretty bad. If I take my foot off the gas, the car dies. My wideband reads 14.5-15.1 when I hold the idle at 1000. When I take my foot off, it runs, and then pops and dies. My wideband reads 17 when this happnes. I pulled my plugs out of curiosity and they were wet with gas. Mechanics at work think its flooding at idle. But what doesnt make sense is if it reads 17-1 wouldnt that be running lean?

Thanks for the help.

Maf is plugged in, and it's good. No black smoke, I can smell a little bit of gas, but not the amount that most people smell that I've been reading about. And no black smoke. A bit of white smoke if anything.

The car does backfire every now and again as well.

Thats what Im leaning towards, but when I rev it, it sounds like its missing or something. I still have to fiddle with the SAFC to get everything smoothed out, but if i cant keep it running I cant do that LOL.

How do I check for that?

Holding it its at around 15 when I let off the gas it goes back to around 20, and then it dies.

Well, you can have a variety of problems. One mod at a time then a test drive is always a good technique. I would uninstall the AFC, put in the stock injectors and see if that solves your problem. If it doesn't then look at common issues. Do you have a check engine light on?

No check engine lights at all. And no codes when I scan it at work.

And thanks for the suggestion, but I have already tried that. I changed everything back to stock except for the intercooler, and I still have the same problem.
