Flex Plate Adapter? Pic

Im in the process of putting my engine and transmission together I ordered new flywheel bolts but I was double checking some things and noticed a ring next to the bolts in the caps my transmission defiantly did not have this ring when I took it apart do I need it everything is new oem flywheel clutch and pressure plate, I searched for the part number and nothing came up its md756768

This is the only picture i could find its for a 7 bolt but mines a 6

Auto or Manual?
I have a manual and do not have that plate. Everything works great for me.

Yea, it a AWD Manual, with a 6 bolt swap

That part is stock only on auto cars, but it's used with aluminum flywheels and longer than stock bolts in order to prevent damage to the flywheel itself when torquing down the bolts.
