Well long story short I installed a new XTD clutch and pressure plate, and adjusted it just like the jacks transmission video said, but the clutch was dragging around 5k, engagement was super low to the floor and the clutch was really soft.
After a ton of time trying to get the adjustment right i noticed that the master was leaking. So i figured it was all the master's fault, so i went ahead and replaced it along with the slave and upgraded to a steal braided line all the way from the master to the slave.
I figured the problem had to be solved with new everything. So i bleed the system and adjusted like the video said again... pedel was rock solid but the clutch engaged super low yet and was dragging around 6k. Went through and rebleed everything and adjusted it agian...same thing.
So i adjusted the rod in further so that the rod was past the slave self adjust bleeder... and it worked perfect! I thought about it for awhile and almost just left it that way, but trying to be the best dsmer i can, i didnt and searched the net for a fix. During my search i found alot of people have that problem and also looking for fixes...I also saw alot of people saying that is normal.<---NOT!!!
After taking a couple day and banging ideas around in my head, a light bulb suddenly came on... I thought to myself if the clutch is working right when the rod is adjusted in, then all i need to do is bring the pedel out, and re-adjust the clutch...I know what most of you are thinking, Did you screw the clutch stop all the way out? and yes i did.
To bring the clutch pedel out even more, all i did was grab ahold of the bottom of the clutch pedal and pulled. The reason that i pulled it was to bend the bracket that is holding the pedal stop slightly out...
I am happy to say that the problem is fixed, and the clutch engages about half way up right where it should and its adjusted right!
