i just got my 1g dsm running after it had been sitting for about 2 years all it needed was a fuel pump but i have been wondering what i should start doing to it i know tune up, timing belt, stuff like that but is there anything else i should check on or look for or just start driving it a little.

sorry guys its not a vr4 its a 90 gst messed up on the tittle

I would change the oil due to condensation possible in the pan. Probably coolant flush as well.

Maybe some Heet in the gas tank to take out water also. Does the gas smell bad?

Also use the brakes gently at first to clean them and make sure none of the hydraulics stick. Changing brake fluid would be good also.

Otherwise, unless really due for a timing belt, that would not necessarily be needed from 2 years sitting.
