I thought my car didn't do too bad for a slight boost leak and being close to stock.
My best was 14.42 @ 94.3 mph with a 60ft of 1.98s. The 14b was spiking to 20 psi, and then floating around 17ish.

I'd have to say the best part about my first time at the track was the look of the V8 guys after I hooked up just as good as their slicks AND THEN hitting times way faster then they expected. :D And must I say that the art of launching really does take practice...

Good job man. I remember my first time to the track I ran a best of 14.7 on my completely stock FWD

fix your boost leak, rewire your fuel pump, and get a walbro fuel pump with a wideband and you will blow their doors off. oh a boost controller would prob do some good.

WTF

I don't think he was looking for advice that he is far beyond, he was just commenting on this trip to the track.

Check the profile.

And yea I've tried 3 times to fix this leak. It's just time for a front mount.

I think you mean an exhaust :p. Really though you will see huge gains from an exhaust.

As for the boost leak, where's it at?

Yea I'm getting a custom 3" inch one for about $200 flat.
It's the J-Pipe gasket. I've tried a new gasket, different jpipe, and even RTV. So I figured just getting a front mount would take care of heat soaking and that leak.

I can't wait to install all the parts I have sitting at my house and then running my roommate at our local track. He has the biggest hard-on for his mildly LS-1 Trans Am with an exhaust cut-out (If you can have a talk to the person next to you in a car, its not loud enough for him).

He still hasn't figured out how to get his 1/4 time down below 14 seconds!! He keeps complaining about how hard it is to get traction and launch with his drag radials ROFL ROFL He's always mumbling something about needing to drop his tire pressure and installing NAWS to get into the 11's :sneaky:

Might help to take some rough sandpaper to the j-pipe and the outlet of the turbo compressor, then rtv and a new gasket. Just make sure you get the high-temp rtv and you should be golden, although a fmic will really help and it'd be a great upgrade, just suggesting in case the funds won't be there for awhile.
