first logfile on the V3 Volvo

Car runs not so good during warmup, need to tune that later. Car runs great once warmed up. Knock system seems to not be working. Still only running WG pressure at 7psi. At half throttle or more it popping, not sure if its a back fire or what. There are a couple that are logged. Watching the WB, it still seems to be in the 12's when it happens.

Thanks for any input. I do see I need to tweak the idle. The airflowperrev is high and need to get it down to .30 or so.

Its looking pretty good from what I see. As you say air flow per rev could come down a bit but other than that looking pretty good.

Its still pretty fresh, but the stumbling under boost has me concerned. I need to get the LC1 wire in for logging.

It feels like just a monster tho!

What feels like a monster the project? The stumbling under boost you sure that isn't a boost leak?

The motor has lots of tourque down low. The last motor was a 2.3, sucky 8v head, small turbo and 15psi. The new motor is a long rodded stroked 2.5l with 16 valves, better intake, header and 3 inch full exhaust.
Ill check for a leak later today. Initally I had done a boost leak before startup and tightened the clamps that were loose. Ill jack more pressure into it, like the 20 plus I want to run and see what happens.
Its something new, and not the program, I think. Before the new engine build, we tuned the V3 on the old motor to prove that it worked. And there were no issues.
Base timing is at 5*. Maybe its running rich and the wb is not reacting fast enough, like Im getting out of the throttle before bad things happen!

Here is another log from today. Doing some street tuning, my dyno guy was riding and noticed we cant get any positive timing out of the datalog even though we have the DA table to do so
There is stumbling at 63 and 64 seconds....we cant put out finger on the issue. Thinking its a timing deal. The WB is reading low 11's at the time.

So I was able to get some timing added to the table...cars starting to feel much better. Got more total cruise timing and gained alot of mpg. I need to remap the afm to better match the boostest.
Having a small tip in problem and need to richen up the accelpump. Im not sure if the stumble is gone, I blew out the dp gasket on the way home from a 500 mile trip today.
