first log ever....knock issues, help!!!
hey guys whats up, im new to the dsm tunning world, i've done my research and all that good stuf so i'm getting there....here's my first log, this was with everything zero'd and i'm still getting some knock from 5500- until i let off, i'm looking for any advice or opinions that are possible, thanks.....

MODS:
3' Turbo back exhaust, intake, mbc (15lbs), (just the basics, stock injectors and pump)

i know i'm going to get some knock up top becuase of my stock fuel pump, but how can i eliminate some of that knock up top and how can i eliminate the knock between 4000-5500 rpm??(this was logged at a 3rd gear pull)
 
First off what year is car/ engine make, i would have to throw out the phantom knock scenary in my opinion. Your fuel pump should be fine at 15psi.
 
yea, sorry i forgot to mention that, its a 98 gst, i dont think its phantom cause i'm read that phantom doens't really happen on my year and also that phantom will appear and then disapeer which is not in my case, mine will knock from about 4k until i let off, with slight increases and decreases along the way, almost seams like timing, but like i said i'm fairly new so i would much rather hear opinons before i make assumptions
 
My opinion is that the cycles/sec are low. there are 500 Rpm gaps between your higher RPMS.. if you want to post an accurate tuning chart get as many cycles/sec as possible and make a pull in 3rd gear and pull to redline from 3K-redline full throttle and dont let off. THEN post thoes reading and let us take a look at it again. I cant really help you with readings like that. So try another log and post it.
A mod list would help along with what you are using to tune.. SAFC, DSMLINK Etc..

i'm using dsmlink to tune the car, also the 500 rpm gaps that are missing, were left out beacuse they were the same as the previouse, i.e : the numbers in the 4500 rpm stayed the same until about the 5k mark were it had a slight change....

i know theres still some room for leaning things out on my current settings (3rd run) but what do you guys think??
 
Looks better then before, as you said a little leaning and fine tunning should help still.
