yeah im already above that sometimes. i think having the trans cooler and intercooler in front of the radiator with 2 stock fans isnt good enoughMy car runs pretty rock solid at 185-190. My fan turns on if I’m idling for a while somewhere.

Sliding the head down over the studs is a PITA. I suggest removing the studs from the block, lifting the head onto the block aligned with the dowls on the corners, and then install the studs after.i f***ed up and should have had the machine shop drill the head stud holes out like others have mentioned because my luck already sucks, i got the studs in, tried to put the head on and it got stuck, shops drilling out the holes should be done before the weekend trying to catch this nice weather, in the meantime i finished the power steering lines, fingers crossed nothing leaks.

Id be careful with that oil pan gasket. I ran one and it just kept leaking and leaking and I tried tightening the bolts but nothing ever helped. I just recently pulled the pan off to find out the flange of my oil pan around the bolts was bent due to being overtightened.no more rtv for the oil pan
heads on
just got to put the timing stuff together boost leaks, fluids yk
hopefully we’ll be able to get tuned now

yeah im pretty sure if the flanges arnt true flat it wont seal, i had a problem with the intake gasket i had gotten from another dsm’er, thats supposed to be superior. i couldnt get it to seal for the life of me in one spot so i had to go back to a stock gasket and rtv and it sealed this was for an intake manifold tho. but same premise, im definitely hoping both mine are good enough to seal id hate to have to deal with all the rtv again.Id be careful with that oil pan gasket. I hope yours seals but mine definitely did not.
