This is that car that made me fall in love with AWD/Boost and 3 years later opportunity came to be able to own it, I bought it with a blow motor but overall good condition car. Pulling the motor went smooth and gave me 3 weeks to clean the engine bay and redo the interior. Two month of ownership its ready for the road.
Put the Evo MR Wheels on it. New weather-seal for the aftermarket sunroof.
Built motor, built trans, fmic, bov, mbc, exhaust. Still has AC/PS.
Started with fixing headliner. Replaced missing screws. Then added the stock evo parts:
Shift knob
Evo 9 Petals
Rearview mirror
Evo 9 Steering wheel
MR gauges
Non-SSL Head unit
Evo 9 fuel pump
I couldn't stand the whine of the walbro 255 so i put in the evo 9 to get the fuel i need with out the sound. If its needed down the road it will go back in but would like to add a FPR first.
I made a harness for the radio for plug and play, welded the hub for the steering wheel and wired in the AEM Wideband.
The car is stock besides those mods. Drives great and starts right up. Im not looking to do much more besides get an aem ems for the car and tune it. Launches hard and shifts butter smooth. Waiting for some tracks to open to get some times out of it and a starting point.
Here is my other car:
2005 Evo 8 SSL
Very stock looking, Fully Built
