420A Finding correct AC Condenser.

I am trying to find the right condenser to fit my 1998 Eclipse GS 420a. I have bought two condensers from two different manufacturer and it does not fit. Not sure what to buy next. Does anyone have a part number or a link to one that will fit. Thanks to everyone for all the help.

Try MB898983. Looks to be the same PN across all the 2g/FWD/NA platforms.

I purchased a condenser on rockauto with that part number and it did not fit.

Not just the images, but in measurements too. The least $$$ one available there is smaller in length and width than the others, and they all vary in width between 5/8” to 1”. See below for a sampling…

You don’t happen to have the old one to verify measurements do you?

I also found this chart (courtesy of UAC) that says there were differences in condensers between models, which we know. The 4663 seems to be the one you’re after though.

Which one did you get on RockAuto?

The part number of the one I purchased was FVP CON4663. I am going to try and check the measurements.
