finally fed up with this what could the prob be?gauges?

ok when i first bought my 2g i had a prob with my gauge cluster first off i bought it with indeglow lights on it.First hen i turn my brights on my lights turn off on the cluster,second my oil temp gauge is always stuck in the middle when the car is off and on,and my temp gauge is fcked up too and i was woundering with the temp gauge how hard is it to put an aftermarket one on and what could be the prob with everything else

Cant help ya with the lights problem but if he put in indiglos he probable screwed up your guages in the process. I had the same problem with my oil gauge because it came apart when i took the guages out. he probably just couldnt figure out how to put it together properly. if you take it apart and look at it you can see how it works, if not maybe just get some new guages from a junkyard that havent been tampered with. you might also want to check to see if the inidglos are touching the guage needles, as that can also cause them to stop. it doesnt take much force to hold those needles in place.

if i by a new gauge cluster at a junkyard how would you go about changing the miles on it to match how many miles are on the car???
