ok bought the car and have had nothin good happen to me since, ive have to put new front right control arm, cv shaft, tie rod, about a week ago i went to put new wires in and i took the plug cover off and it was filled with oil, my coolant is brown, the lifters were ticking untill i started running synthetic, it smokes when i come to a stop or when i take off it leaves a cloud, and finaly today the mph gauge slowely stoped workin after the the tranny started making a screaming noise in second gear, i mean i already knew it was goin but its just shitty.... please install some faith in me before i sell this and get a honda :barf:

Oh yea and the suroof became totaly ####ed up and off the tracks and the wires are unhooked and i cant get it shut and it rained and ruined my headliner all week.........

Sounds to me like the previous owner overheated your car, sometime before he jacked a curb.

Have you checked the transmission fluid?

replaced tranny fluid and a gasket that blew out my mechanic said, also replaced a turbo gasket and dp gasket, and timing belt! i bought this car to mod it not to fix it.....

and yes the guy before me that owned it was a tool!

The little gear wheel inside the speedsensor is plastic. It is probly broke fromthe tranny problems. Mine is currently not working either. Solution for me was one of TRE-spec FWD rebuilt transmissions. It is not worth the hassle of trying to keep fixing things when you need to replace them.

Check the plug on the sending unit on your tranny.

It sounds like the guy who had it before you knew the right time to sell. Very unfortuanite but some people are ### like that. Good luck with the rest of your car man :thumb:
