final stages (rebuild)

Hi there, im on my final stages of rebuilding. i have had the cyl head machined, bought new headgasket, waterpump, thermostat, etc. All i need to know is some tips once ive placed all the parts back together, such as line all timing marks, make sure oil pump is in right pos, #1 cyl is at the top. etc. please help i spent all this money and dont wanna scrap my talon.. (1992 eagle talon N/T)

The manual will tell you the exact steps that you should perform when timing the engine.

did you remove the balance shafts??? if not i would its like 40 bucks and makes the timing way easier! so something to think about also you dont have to time the oil pump just make sure your at tdc and the cams are lined up!!! but your chiltons or manual of it should show decent pics of what you need to do!
