begining stages of 1G mods.

I am in the beginning stages of modding my 1G TSI AWD 5sp and I want to put my tax return to good use. What should be my next step? I'm looking for go fast parts, no more rice for me. Here is what I have so far:

K&N air filter
unsilenced MAF
hacked air can
Boost guage
Data logger (palm)
Properly crushed BOV
Eliminated emmisions crap
17" wheels
Painted valve cover
H4 headlight conversion
Glow guage faces
Apexi 3" Down pipe
3" Cat back (hasn't arrived yet) Don't order from AHP!!:thumbdown

First off, what are your 1/4 mile goals? What hp are you looking to achieve?
If it was me... and im looking for low 11's if not mid 10's i would get

255 HP lph walbro
AFPR
ACT 2600
650 cc injectors
SAFC2
2g MAS
FMIC
all pipes upgraded
A bigger turbo, im ordering a GREEN in april, or a 60 trim garrett
Suspension upgrades
AND LOTS OF TUNING!!!!!!! LOTS!
Oh, if you can try to get your hands on a TMO ECU. I have a stage 3 and its SWEET!

these are some of the things you will want to look into
just do your hw on the stuff

In order of importance, at least to me:
- Manual Boost Controller
- Turbo Timer (Optional, but will improve the life of your turbo)
- Air/fuel ratio gauge
- Upper IC Piping
- Lower IC Piping
- New Intercooler

Your stock system will be pretty much maxed out once the previous mentioned items are installed in which case you'll need a new turbo, but you'll also need something like DSM Link to tune your engine for the new turbo.

I'm definatley getting a MBC and upper and lower I/C pipes. But I've been told that the only thing a A/F guage does is make pretty colors, what about a EGT Guage??? How much power can you get out of a SMIC?? I know everyone upgrades to a FMIC but do I really need it? My goals are to eventually have a 300HP daily driver, I don't realy care about 1/4 mi time just want the power for the street. What is a TMO ECU?? Did I see that on e-bay for like $75??

how much difference would a 2G mas make on a 1G? I see that some ppl upgrade to it, and I was curious to how much better it'd be.

If you want 300 hp, i would get:
Manual boost controller (you can make one)
Intake
Better smic with upper and lower piping
190 lph fuel pump and 550 injectors (get 255 and larger injectors if you plan to get a bigger turbo in the future)
safc or something else to tune
16g (big, evo III, or other)
port your stock exhaust manifold, or upgrade to ported 2g
port 02 housing or upgrade (to help control boost creep)
and a new clutch to handle all that power you will be putting out

That should get should be all you would need for a 300 hp daily driver. I wouldn't recommend the a/f gauge, its just a light show, sometimes it is way off stoich anyway.

Choice C = I/C piping (cheap)
