I have been looking vigorusly for a good write-up on the cheapest way to fill in the holes after removing the spoiler off of my 2ga eclipse? anyone?

The cheap way , keep the spoiler on it that it came with. Second rubber plugs. Third way. Weld the holes shut , boldy fller, then prime and paint.
were do I get the rubber plugs? and the bolts you grind them down @ WES_393
and a clear IdkI used black plastic plugs with some RTV to seal them down as a temporary fix to waterproof. It doesnt look to bad, and so far they seem to be firmly attached and have survived several car washes with the brush, and high pressure wand, with no leaks. You just have to be gentel I suppose eventually they could pop off but almost a year now its holding strong. I do plan to weld them in and repaint at some point, or maybe I'll just replace the entire hatch to a stock one with the spoiler I wanted. Photo attached

. You can pick up the plugs at any automotive store... look around the snap and plastic locks sections
