Fidanza Flywheel resurface or replace friction surface?

Can you resurface fidanza flywheel friction plates? Or should I find a new one? If I need a new one where should I go?

Just replace the friction plate. It's cheaper then resurfacing a flywheel.

17$ and same day turn around vs. 43.99 plus S&H Plus wait time often 2 weeks if mailed via USPS as a lot of the vendors do. I found one at ultrarev but I also found out you can resurface them

I paid $110 to get my ACT flywheel resurfaced. $80 to stone grind a stepped chromoly flywheel, and $10 each to pull and replace three blind alignment dowels.

$17 sounds like a too good to be true deal.

I called the machine shop I use for things we don't do at work and they said 17$ to resurface a flywheel.

I was told by a shop here they also have to mill down the areas that stick up that the pressure plate bolts to. If not it wont hold the sames pressure.

I will ask him what he is gonna do for the 17$. I just asked about getting it turned. He has always done top notch work for me. I have been going to him for years until I started working at the shop I do now.
