I had something interesting happen today. I pulled off my throttle body and was cleaning out my fiav/isc. I noticed that the o-ring for the little motor was completely detiorated and could be the source of a vacuum leak that i've been chasing for awhile now. so, obviously i didn't have that same o-ring close by so i used some rtv/gasket maker to seal it up. I reinstalled everything and went for test drive. everything seemed fine until BOOM! something blew loose like an IC pipe or something. the whole drive back something sounded like it was sucking hard and idle was up at 3000. I got back and popped the hood and found that the little isc motor had blown off the TB. the 2 bolts holding it on were still on the TB. it had broken the aluminum ears off of the ISC motor. I didn't overtighten them when I initially put it on. Has anyone seen this before? It was pretty nuts.
oh yea NUTS!
. how much boost were u running?
