That is the question. Looking for opinions. Tires are 245/45/17. Also whats the biggest tire that can fit on a 17"?

You can only fit a tire thats made for a 17in rim on a 17. If you are talking about the widest tire you can fit on your rims, we would have to know how wide your rims are.

No fender flares. I would recommend getting the correct tire size or rims with the correct offset to correct your wheels sticking out like that..

Yes, thats what I meant. I got these rims and tires for free. I'd like to know the offset also. I've been told to measure the inside lip. Is this correct?

no flares, barf. we need your wheel width to tell you how "big" a tire will fit. measure from the inside of the wheel, flat where the bolt holes are to the lip of the wheel and you will have you backspacing.

Find pics of Mavisky's car to see how 240z fender flares look on a 1g. Looked pretty damned cool in my book and allowed for bigger tires, assuming you do the metal cutting (and welding in the rear) that might be necessary (not sure since I don't own a 1g).

If you can make them look natural go for it, I always support wider tire mods.

No flares, unless you are running proper offset and very wide slicks/tires. What is the offset of the wheels on the car?

Im not sure on the offset but I can only fit a finger between the tire. They came from 06 eclipse and fit great on it. Push what out?

Gonna repost the pics. Better quality from tapatalk.

Roll your fenders if you can, if not then find proper size wheels but dont install fender flares.
