Hi I just bought a set of polyurethane bushings for my rear suspension on my spyder gst as well as feal coilovers with fabs and I was wondering if the polyurethane bushings would make my ride significantly less smooth or not affect it that much, I decided to get bushing since I couldn’t find a replacement for a control arm part

I have poly-bushings on my 1g with feal coilovers and you definitely will have a harsher ride. It will feel nowhere near stock in my experience. Whether it will be too harsh just depends on you.

i had lower springs and the normal rubber bushings before do yk if it would be smoother or more rough than that?

What brand of bushings did you purchase? There are two main brands, Energy suspension and Prothane. From what I have been told and experienced the Prothane bushing will give you the most harsh ride versus the Energy Suspension bushings.

If you want a stock feeling ride I would stick with the rubber bushings. If you stick with the poly bushings make sure to grease them with white lithium to avoid massive amount of squeaking. Ask me how I know.

I just wanted a smoother ride since I had lower springs so I got feal instead then found out my rear suspension was out and couldn’t find one of the bottom control arms so I just got a prothane set but I just requested a return and will either probably keep looking for the control arm or try energy suspension since you say it’s not as harsh
