I have searched the forums and found nothing that really helps my situation.

I have a mishimoto with 2 slim-line fans, wired to the left side (facing hood) connector. My fans come on when I hit the AC button, but do not when the car is idling and the AC is off.

I am assuming (please let me know if I'm wrong) that the relay is good and the fuses are good since the fans turn on...The question is, what does that leave to check? I am getting a reading from the coolant temp senor in DSMlink, so I don't know what else it could be...

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,
Scott

Hey.... amazingly, I swapped the headlight relay with the rad fan relay and then swapped them right back. Then, the rad fans started working at idle like they should. I'm not sure what did it, but it's fixed.

Thanks for the suggestions.

Hi!
First there's a dedicated relay for each fan as well as dedicated fuse for each fan my guess here is that you wired your fans wrong actually I think from what I just read that you wired both of your fans to the AC connector. Post a picture!

The fans are wired to the connector. If you are facing the engine bay with the hood up, the connector is plugged into the wiring harness on the left side of the engine bay. I thought that was the correct location to plug it into, is that what you want to see a picture of?
