hey guys

quick question. When ever the fans kick on only one comes on cant remember if its always just the one or they alternate. but they dont both come on. Is this normal does just one come on at a time then if it gets really hot both kick on. If not i'll probly do a test on both and find the faulty one

thanks

The AC fan, driverside, will only come on when the AC is on. Turn your AC on and both fans should come on immediately.

Thnx for the advice. Just went and checked the only one that came on was the ac fan. The other one didn't. What I dont get is that it has never overheated. Is it critical to have 2 fans going at once?

When you turn the the AC on? Have you let the car idle and see if the radiator fan comes on? The radiator fan is triggered by a temperature sensor attached to the radiator. Have you checked the fuse?

I just went and let it idle. Yup the radiator fan came on. I guess i've never paid attention before, then one day I only saw one fan kick on and wondered if it was normal.

Thanks alot for all the help!
