external WG ?s

Ok so im working on a holset setup. finaly have everything and ran into a issue with the external WG. Now my question is, is there a size differance or build differance in a external wg for o2 or manifold? I have one meant for manifold. but my setup is meant for off the o2. Im having clearance issues with the WG.


I have to get it welded to the O2 yet but i dont see a good way for clearance from either the alt or the dunp hitting the IC pipe. its a ebay o2 housing( i got it free with a purchace of a bep housing for the holset) but it dumps into the atmosphere not back into exhaust.

would it be best/easier to just get a o2 housing thats meant for a wg instead of modding the free one i got?

What kind of wastegate are you trying to use? It must be pretty big to not be able to fit... Usually mainfold on o2 housing are 2 bolt style while ones off the collector of the manifold are v-band style.. But either can be used for either location.

Ill have to mees with it more or something. Its alot like the turbonetic evoloution 3 style.

Is it a two bolt or vband? What brand is the wg?

its a 2 bolt 38mm universal one from ebay. it was a last resort thing couldnt afford a good setup
