External Gate Springs

i feel like an idiot asking this but i was wondering what exactly the srpings in an external wastegate represent.... they either represent the least amount of boost you can run with it or when the wastegate opens.... i wanna run 20psi so by that what bar spring do u all recomend.... i am also gonna be using a tial 38mm wastegate do you think that big enough??? it will be mounted on the o2 housing

Had you actually done some of your own research you would know noone answered you because there is a thread in the engine performance section on this exact subject.
