I plan on FP3065.Of course it comes with external gate.
Its dumped .How annoying will this be in a daily driver?
I would buy their recirced o2 but its crazy expensive at 625 US.
So think just get the 2.5 one they sell and figure out something to do with that wastegate dump.I have heard some guys get a small muffler like a supertrap? Or can maybe run tube to my downpipe but didn't really want to have to do that.

It wont be annoying with daily driving as long as you dont hammer on it all the time. Its only going to be loud when your on it. If you have access to a welder, why not just make your own dump tube and recirculate it back into the O2 housing?

The 02 dump is only going to open when you hit full boost. How often is that when you're using the car as a DD anyways? I almost never hit full boost on my t25 - imagine how much more you would have to rev it up with a FP3065 to get the external dump to open. You'd prettymuch have to be driving around town like an assclown for it to open.

sorry about hijacking the thread.

But someone have a sound or a vid to hear how it sounds when is dumped to atmosphere?. On my car i will be runing a external gate also, here in Mexico we don't have any law for that so it's perfectly legal

External dump=extremely loud. Its cool the first few times, then it just kinda sounds like ass. Much rather be hearing the turbo spool than open exhaust.

I agree, its a new sound when you first install it and its ok until the novelty wears off. I'd get a 38mm pipe end welded into your exhaust, then purchase a 1.5" flex tube and connect them. That way you can have it re-routed for daily driving, and if you ever get the urge to dump to the ground, all you have to do is unbolt the flex tube, aim it towards the ground, and block off the 1.5" tube on your downpipe.

You could try a small muffler, but there isn't a whole lot of room down there, and fact is it will always end up being louder than your current exhaust set-up.
