As you can see by the following pic I dont have very much room to go straight down with the dump tube. But.... I have plenty of room on the intake side of the turbo. Would it affect anything routing the pipe this far?

All the pipe does is carry the exhaust gas out of the engine bay. It shouldn't matter if it's very long, but you could try snaking it to the passenger side a couple inches to have it come down under the turbine housing.

Yeah, I have some stainless mandrel bends that was the plan, but then I wondered about the length of the pipe.

I doubt you'd feel any difference having alot of piping for your WG dumptube, but I like keeping things simplified with as little extra pieces as possible.

If you cut the tube that leads to your WG right at the welds and re-weld the flange, you might have enough room to send the dump tube straight down on the o2 sensor side of your downpipe. I personally have mine routed past the alternator and underneath the oil filter (recirculated into my exhaust), but I had more room there than you. I also don't like running hot pipes right next to the alternator, so I wrapped the tube.

I do have DEI wrap, but Im worried about heat soaking the ic pipe.

I think I'm gonna try to run it straight down first if it wont work, I'll run it out the passenger side.

If you're worried about heating the IC pipe, you can go ahead and heat wrap that also. Just don't have the tube dumping right onto the IC pipe. If the dump tube goes by the IC pipe but dumps away from it, there shouldn't be a problem, especially if you wrap the IC pipe as well.

Not to hijack your thread or anything, but do those dumps grime up the engine bay at all. I have a white car and was thinkin the exhaust would turn my nice white engine bay yellow.

Well you aren't dumping it in the engine bay. The whole idea of the dump tube is to evacuate the exhaust gasses down to below. All those gasses will be emptied down to the street. So it shouldn't discolor your engine bay. If it did, the color would be the least of your worries. You'd probably be experiencing an electrical nightmare by that point. Melting your alternator or something.

Just a suggestion. You may want to look into getting a support bracket made up for the wastegate tube. Mine had a problem where it cracked right at the weld in the middle. Just a suggestion so yours doesnt end up looking like this too

I spent a whole damn day cutting and fitting and cutting and fitting. This is what I came up with.

Picture looks good to me. Stuff like that is all trial and error since everyones setup is different. Routing with a little extra piping shouldnt matter, just like a couple others said, dont dump right on top of the IC pipe

It ends up about 3 inches below the oil filter. I'll try to take some pics tomorrow of it installed. Thanks for the help guys.
