External Dump tube

and im wondering what this is for i have a 16g on my gsx and wondering if this o2 sensor would help with my new downpipe to enhance perfomance or is there a some other reason the dump tube is there?? If there is a certain set up you must have to attain a o2 housing that dumps to the atomsphere please let me know.....

o2 dumps are used as a last resort to boodt creep. They will yeild some performance gains though. I hear they are loud as hell, I have never heard one in person. It is also illegal to run one on the street if you care.

yea ive haerd one ... actually sounds cool. but yea u use a dump when u have no other way of killing major boost creep. usually ppl get a external gate and see if that cancels it and if not they add the dump i believe. but there is no power gain .. just another path of exhaust exiting.
