is 2.5 inch in diameter for a cat back exhaust system big enough?

it is big enough, however most of us run 3 inch!!!!. 2.5 is plenty if you are still stock and looking for a small upgrade.

It depends on what your goals are. If you're just looking to free up some power on your stock turbo, 2.5" is fine. How ever if you are ever planning on a larger turbo or more boost then go 3".

Your better off just getting a 3 inch now that way you have room to play with for future goals.

thanks guys right now im not planning to get a bigger turbo i just want to get rid of some back pressure and get a little power out of it. im running stock turbo with stock boost and its fast enough for me. im just trying to take car of it and make it last.

that sounds good!!!! intake,full 3'' turbo back exhaust,headers will free up quite a bit on the stock t-25. those little t-25's are spool monsters and spool quickly down low.
