exhaust help

so im looking to put a new turbo back exhaust on my 98 gsx...only thing is im still going to useing the stock turbo the reason i want a new exhaust is ### the stock down pipe has a small leak and it rattles when i get to about 4000 rpm...now i was looking at the pacesetters downpipe(bolts to stock)((also do i need a new uppipe?where the o2 sensor is?))and im going to connect the down pipe to the HKS hi flow cat back.im thinking that i go with a 2.5 inch all the way back since im still useing the stock turbo...no reason to go with the 3 inch(or am i wrong) also after i do this am i going to need to get a tune or anything? im new to the proformance side of working on cars...any suggestions? or am i doing anything wrong?

You will have to cut the flange off and re weld it at a different orientation most likely. IF you match brands they will bolt together, but every company seems to mount them different. Definitely go with 3 inch. It will be nice down the road when you want to upgrade and make more power.

saddly it is an automatic(i know it blows but it happens) im not really trying to put more power into it im just looking to get the car running nice and smooth and to give it just a little bit more umph you know..so im gunna have to match the brands together if i want it to just bolt up...well i need a down pipe to go to the stock turbo and a cat back but im not trying to break the bank...also do i need to do a tune?
