Alright guys.

I have an apexi cat back exhaust. just for starters. And my stock downpipe is shot... I need a new downpipe and since living in PA i have emissions restrictions so i need to retain the stock cat! I'm looking threw some downpipes, what sizes... ect will i need to make this work with the stock cat? btw i still have the stock 14b.

You'll have to get a 2.5 to 3 reducer. Are you doing the work yourself or having someone do it for you.

someone is helping me out. honestly im not looking for balls out. im just looking for a little extra since i have to spend the money for a downpipe. So get a 2.5 downpipe a 2.5 cat and a reducer?

That setup will be better than stock but not balls to the wall and won't hurt the spool up on the stock turbo.

I suggest you make your own downpipe. It'll be cheaper than the alternative. Drop your old one, buy whatever size tubing you want with some flanges, and take it all to an exhaust shop. Tell them to replicate the bends, weld in the stock cat and flanges and your off.

Ok, its going on a week and I need this car fixed. talked to the guy that is doing work. He said rather than having to weld and try to hand piece multiple parts together it would be wise to just buy a whole new exhaust system. ( what i get is he doesnt wanna hack up a new downpipe to weld it to the stock cat.) So i need some solutions guys. Is there anywhere where i can get a downpipe flanged for (stock o2 housing) with a 3'' then a 3'' flanged high flow cat that with bolt up to my apex cat back! if not where i can get a complete system that includes a cat (because of emissions!) grrrrrrrrr:ohdamn::confused:
