Exhaust Changing Tone Over Time

I have had my Apexi N1 catback on for just a few weeks and it seems like its changing it's sound somewhat. Sounds like its crackling a bit now--kind-of gravel-ly. Is this normal--and how much does an exhaust typically change tone over time. Thanks!

Not sure about DSM's, but I put a GReddy Evo on my old civic and it changed some over time. I think it just has to have that little bit of time to wear in...

Dosen't change much.
But it will change some.

It kind of "settles" and the muffler gets "used some".
