EVOVIII cams.....an upgrade for 2g??

Hey whats going on guys, I have a set of EVO VIII cams. They are oem, were replaced with performance ones. I was trying to figure out some places if they are any kind of an upgrade for 2g 4g63 and most of all if they will even fit right since the motor is flipped flopped? Thanks for any info:

2. PLEASE try staying on topic (do not suggest me other cams such as "Just go with HKS" or something along those lines)

I am almost positive that the cams are the same for both cars, If you've heard anything different please let me know. I think even the if Evo cams were better, I couldn't see them being better by much.

You would have to get cams out of a Evo 1,2 or 3 because after that they switched to cam gears on the other side of the cam. You can read more about them here...try to do an advanced search and use some generic terms when searching like I did...Evo cams and got this

The evo 8 cams that you have will not be usable as an upgrade as the cam gears are on the opposite side. Just sell them and use the money towards some new cams.

No that would not be a good idea. Just cut your loses, sell them on ebay, and buy some other upgrades for your car
