I'm a bit confused as to what you're asking here, but I think you're wondering what ROM and definition you're supposed to use to tune your car? The short answer is that you use the Ceddymods 1v9C from the store page (it'll actually be 1v9Cb when you open it). Ceddy used the last ROM Mitsubishi made for our platform as the basis for the Ceddymods ROM; it is fully back-words compatible with all the DSM flashable ECUs (well except for the Spyders, their fuel pump is special).

If you're talking about just the ability to log, you can use the '98 GST (20550011) stuff ifaik. Honestly though the Ceddymods ROM has more logging options plus CEL on knock and is a stock ROM beyond the bonuses. I'd suggest upgrading to the Ceddymods ROM and go from there. Be sure to save your stock ROM on your PC just for security. Hope that answers your question.

To clarify, that's not exactly correct. The N/A spyder has a different setup, but the 4g63 2.0T Spyder is setup the same as the 4g63 2.0T coupe. I flashed my original 98 Spyder GST ECU with no issues. Later I installed a coupe ECU, didn't have to re-wire a thing, and flashed it just the same. Both ECUs are running the same rom version and tune.

You should throw this is the Ceddy FAQ. I read that entire thread (like 100 pages) and there was nothing about anything on which ROM you use for which car. A few people said they used any ROM for any turbo platform, but it makes much more sense to me now.

So I got the files placed into ECUFlash where the are supposed to be, and i'm just picking through Creddy's ROM in ECUFlash. You say its a stock Map? (besides added features) I haven't got my cable yet, so I can't download and compare my stock Map at the moment.

Iv'e been reading and learning a lot about tuning the Maps, but the only thing really holding me back at the moment is injectors. If I change the injector size and latency in ECUFlash for whichever ones I get, will that alone be a decent tune for me to continue DD'ing my car with the new injectors? I understand there will be more fine tuning, but its my main mode of transportation and don't want to be up shizz creek.

If you set your injector scaling and latency, it will be close enough to run. You'll want to monitor your AFRs since spray patterns will be different from stock, and likely atomize fuel differently.

Start by setting your scaling and latencies. You'll be fairly safe/rich, but keep an eye on your AFRs until you can really dial it in. To be safe, it would be wise to not just hop in and drive until you've dialed in the injectors and maps completely since startup enrichment and open loop will still be set to stock. Give the car time to come up to operating temperature and get into closed loop.
