I have an Evo VIII turbo on the way, and now i noticed on a pic of a manifold that the bolt pattern, turbo to manifold, looks different -- not square. Is it possible to use an Evo 8 manifold / header or how can I get this to work (if at all)? My talon is a 1992 AWD.

If I do get this to work will it spool any different or handle more or less power than with any other 16g turbo?

If it won't work, does anyone here know someone who needs this turbo?

Thank you
:dsm:

Its not gonna work at all. The engine is mounted opposite ours, so the turbo is completley different. The only evo turbo that works is the evo III, because back then the engine was mounted in the same direction as ours. :dsm:

^^
That's pretty cool they could do that but with all the time and money they wasted they could bolt on a bigger, better turbo.

Wrong, evo 1-3 turbos work on our cars, but not all of them are upgrades. You can use the evo8 turbo, but its not worth the hassle.

LOL! well the E8 will be pointing to your alternator so unless you do some major fabricating your SOL. btw why didnt you just get an E3b16g? it can flow 42lbs a min which is just under a 20g. tried, tested and proven performance. just my .02 :talon:

My question too. Why was the EVO8 turbo purchased? It'll be one hell of a cool setup, but could you imagine the down time?
