evo or 2g exhast manifold?

If I get the evo 16g can I use a ported 2g manifold or do I have to get a evo manifold? Can you port the evo manifold?

save up for the evo manifold, and yes you can port it out, but i would personally wait to get my hands on the evo manifold

All the differant manifolds will bolt up just fine. Some say that they need just a bit of a trim for the 2G and EVO to fit on a 1G but not everyone say they have had to do it. Other than that they are all the same fit. The EVO flows the best, then 2G and I would never put a 1G on anything.

Actually I looked up recent prices and the EVO Manfiold is cheaper then the stock 2G for some reason? I think a lot of companies overstocked their supply but anyway, think about it this way...the Evo Manifold pretty much IS a 2G ported. So, if you ever decide to get a larger turbo you can port the Evo manfiold instead of wasting the money to port the 2G then having to get another manifold anyways. Good Luck!

I honestly say that you can port a 2g manifold and get away with it if you can't find someone selling a evo manifold cheap enough tho.

Find you a 2g manifold for sale in the classifides or on RRE and port the ever-living-crap out of it. Then you got a good flowing manifold.

I have a basic follow-on question. If you just refer to an EVO Manifold for a 2G, does that automatically mean it's an EVO III Manifold? THXs.

Since it's one of the most popular manfiold swaps I would say it would be. But it all depends on who is asking but if you want to be 100% accurate on what to buy search for Evo III manifold.
