My top #4 runner exhaust manifold stud is broken and i was just wondering if i can tap this out without taking off the manifold?

eh good luck. if you just broke one stud and the rest are solid and on it shouldn't give you any problems. Taking my manifold off took 30 minutes and a hell of alota cussing on the two bigger end studs...along with alota double nutting and muscle. None of my studs broke though so I didn't have that problem. I replaced mine with alota anti-sieze and the Hahn s16g install kit SS studs tho.

If it broke w/ thread on the outside, use some really good and really long pliars

If it broke w/ no thread on the outside, use a drill with a bit smaller than the stud and a EZ out (can be bought at Lowes/Hardware Store) and put the ez out in the hole u drilled and rip that puppy out...or do like I did on my oil pump housing and drill holes into the broken stud and hope that it crumbles and take a vacuum cleaner to it to suck up the broken metal.
