Ok i just recently got my 16g in place and everything is hooked up right...cept for the oil feed line i have to tighten some more. Now on vfaq they are saying to hook up the wastegate to a positive pressure source. When i was takin out the t25 there was a line goin to the wastegate ANd the turbo housing's side. with the new Evo turbo i didnt see a line from the turbo i have the one line hooked up to the wastegate but the other line is just hangin there. Does anyone have a suggestion what i should do with the lines? also does anyone kno if i can tighten the stainless steel braided oil feed nuts without takin the manifold and turbo off again? i kno it was stupid not to tighten them before hand but i thought i did...

Thanks :dsm:

that line need's to be tapped into a pressure source, most people use the BOV line.

i kno...it says that...but what are the two lines comming off of the old turbo and wastegate??? and should i just use those, and is there any info anywhere about how to tap into the pressure source?

thanks :dsm:

just use a tee... a brass one is bling

I even circled everything for ya. in case you're wondering if you DONT have a boost controller, just hook the bottom of the tee to the wastegate.

the one coming from the compressor housing on the T-25 is the pressure source. it goes to the wastgate and it also goes to the stock Boost Control Solenoid under the air filter. the line going to the wastegate should be coming from the boost/pressure source. that could either be the BOV line, the lower intercooler piping (RRE style), or on the compressor housing like on the T-25
