evo 9 rods

ok so today i got some evo 9 pistons with the rods still on. could i use the evo 9 rods on my 2g. or would i have to turn them or do something so that they just go in the bore.

You can install them as-is....the dots on the piston crown ALWAYS face the front of the engine (belt side). The valve recesses in the piston crown will be the wrong way, but this doesn't matter because the Evo IX piston is slightly shorter.

ok since they are evo 9 rod would i have to get evo 9 rod bearing or 2g rod bearing
