ok bro's i just got my evo 9 pistons but what i wana know is. if i could use the evo 9 rods or do i have to use the 2g rods

Man you're getting ready huh! Planning to be the fastest dsm in fresno eh! LOL
Not if I get there first. LOL

I think you can use evo rods but you might have to do some work on it. Not 100% sure.

They are the same as far as I know. The reason Evo guys make more power on them is because of the offset of the piston reduces stress on them.

Will if you came across the rods and piston as a set I say go for it. But if you didn't come across it as a set I think it'll be better if you just buy some new racing rods where it's meant to handle high hp. I'm not sure if the evo rods are forged like the top of the evo 9 pistons.
Oh and the evo rods do fit in a 2g.
