Evo 8 piston ring.... Help can't find

So I'm putting Evo 8 pistons with 1g rods. But I can't the damn rings. Only Mitsubishi sells the ring, and they raping me in price. Anybody know where I can find it. Anyhelp please. I want my car back.

Just to most Tuners supporting vendors and they can surely help you out. I recommend ExtremePSI or VR-Speed. Also, Im almost positive 2g piston rings are the same as EVO rings since many other internal parts are interchangeable. I have EVO IX rods in my 2g for example.

JNZ tuning sells them for $42 per piston
According to CAPS, the part number for a standard size ring set is MN155259

What is the dealer trying to charge you?

50 per piston. i think thats crazy. you can get a new set of evo 8 pistons for 300 bucks from them. i doubt the casting is only 25bucks in the end.

^ You can also get a very nice used set of Evo 9 pistons and rods for ~100 bucks. You just gotta know where to look.
