EVO 8 interior into DSM

So this may be a dumb question to some but I have seen a DSM with a Evo8 steering wheel in it before and I was wondering if the Ricaros from Evo8 would mount up in the eclipse? anyone have an answer?

Yes but you have to fab up some brackets.

kk I think im just going to sell the seats and wheel instead. I didnt realize that u had to fabricate or purchase a custom mount for the 8 seats

Im pretty sure there you can install sterring wheel/seats/dash in the eclipse ive seen them in 2g where i live.

OH yea there is, I seen it from this guy who was selling the evo black leather recaro's out of his spyder so it's possible but i think he got the seat brackets from a place called wedge enginnering. I'm wondering if it's possible to put the dash from an evo into a 2g? I see that it has been done on a 1g. Hey spyderboy how hard is it to install the dash from an EVO into a 2g?

Evo Recaros can be bolted into your car using Bride Bottom Rails. or you can buy wedge brackets.

I have evo VIII seats and a steering wheel in my gsx. I think they used a piece of flat iron then welded the seat onto the bracket. It looks good and sturdy. Check out this link. I posted some pics of my evo seats.

They are recaros, cant you just buy DSM brackets and mount the seats to them??

They are on there. Theyre just at the very bottom of the thread.

And the dsm brackets? Like off a seat? I dont know about the fitment issues and if you could retain the sliding of the seat and all that.

I see. doesnt look too bad in the eclipse. looks pretty good actually
