420A Evo 8-9 intercooler piping on a 420a

Hi, I have a question relate to intercooler piping for 420a. Is it true that i can use a evo 8 or 9 intercooler and piping and it will fit without modifications? i will like to know. Thanks!

This is almost certainly a no. Are you looking to use an evo 8 intercooler as well? I would expect with any 2g front mount intercooler you'll need to make some modifications at a minimum removing some of the plastic OEM duct work to fit everything. What do you mean by "no modifications". Have you already turbocharged your 420a? What turbo are you using? There's so many variables here it is impossible for this to be a yes or no answer without a lot more details about your build specifically.

I tried reading up on this when the OP posted, but there doesn't seem to be any definitive answer. Someone suggested it in the past, but we have no proof that it will work in the manner requested. Bottom line is that if you're turbocharging a 420A, modifications are required anyway.
