ok so i guess i &@&$ up when i picked up the evo X calipers (but they were such a good price) either that or i need to bore out the holes to fit the bolts as they seem to be bigger

For me, the pain of that mistake wasn't mounting the X calipers. It's realizing you can't fit your 17" rims because the calipers also sit taller.
