2G Front EVO Brembo calipers with 13.1 adapter

The stock EVO 8 knuckle mounting bolts are about .5" closer the inside of the rim than the stock 2g knuckle, meaning the caliper is pushed further away from the knuckle center. As we all have seen the EVO 8 mounting holes are directly over top and interfer with the 2g holes.

The bracket he fabbed up says the bolt spacing on the stock knuckle is 127mm and the 3000gt mounting holes are spaced 157mm. I think a bracket could be fabraciated to make the EVO 8/9 calipers work. The only thing would have to be changed would be the rotors. If you could space the caliper to knuckle mounting bolts about 20-30mm apart so they wouldn't interfer with each other than use a 13.0-13.5 inch rotor. Once again 17" and under might not make the cut.

So yes I think a different version of his bracket could work.
